Custom Pet Portrait

Pet portrait commissions are happily accepted by JB Beaudet. The best place to begin the portrait process is to send me photos. Clearly-focused, well-lit photos of the face and shouldersare the key to a strong portrait. Another option is for me to travel to where you are and take photos for you. In general a 16" by 20" head and shoulders portrait takes approximately 30 to 90 days. Once the price is set, a standard portrait contract will be signe by both parties and a nonrefundable deposit of 50% is paid. At this time, head and shoulders protraits start at $ 1200.00 for a 16" by 20" oil on canvas. Pricing will vary due to size of canvas, amount of subjects, how much of the figure(s) are showing, if there is a photo session involved, background, etc. The balance of the commission, plus tax is paid when the portrait is complete. An email photo of the finished oil painting is sent to the client for apporval. Upon receipt of payment the portrait will be sent UPS. Expenses associated with any travel and or shipping/packaging are additional and will be clearly and openly discussed and outlined.
